StarHospitality showcased its latest property at its stand in the Arabian Travel Market — the region’s leading travel and tourism networking event.

“We are very excited to announce the launch of our new property in Kuala Lumpur. The leisure market has witnessed a steady growth in Malaysia over the years. The capital city has no parallels in the regions when its comes to shopping havens, wellness spas, private medical centres, entertainment outlets — and a huge selection of local and international specialty restaurants and cafes,” Abid Junaid, Executive Director, ETA Star Properties said at the launch.

“Keeping this in mind, we are confident and happy to launch our first property outside the UAE in Kuala Lumpur,” he noted.

He hoped that over the time, StarPoints would become the ideal choice for all business and leisure travellers in Kuala Lumpur. StarPoints is located in the Central Golden Triangle of Kuala Lumpur, between the old city and the new. The hotel apartment towers over the other structures in its vicinity, thus offering guests a view of the capital.

The property is located on the edge of the city centre, within 2 kilometre radius of all the important highways. The property will open its doors for business in the third-quarter of 2009.

StarPoints boasts of 137 furnished rooms that include 12 junior suites, four executive suites and two executive floors. StarHospitality operates under the commercial name StarHospitality Hotels & Resorts.

StarHospitality Hotels & Resorts is co-owned by Dubai-based conglomerates ETA Ascon and ETA Star Property developers. — aneela@khaleejtimes.com
