UBC Receives ISO Certification for Services
DUBAI - Union Brokerage Company, or UBC, the brokerage subsidiary of Union National Bank, announced that it has been awarded an ISO 9001:2008 certification by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Limited, or LRQA, for its entire range of services across the United Arab Emirates.
The certification covers the complete range of brokerage services to individuals and institutional clients, together with all support functions across an extensive network of UBC branches throughout the UAE.
“I am very pleased to note that LRQA has awarded UBC the ISO Quality certification. A pronounced adherence to quality and service leadership have always been hallmarks of UBC and these factors will continue to be strong differentiators in the years ahead as we continue to expand,” said Mohammad Nasr Abdeen, Chief Executive Officer of Union National Bank.
“I am glad that over the years, our quality focus has remained the same even as our operations have expanded significantly. I would like to congratulate all UBC staff for this sterling achievement, which reflects their consistent adherence to the highest quality standards” he added.
UBC recently became the first and currently only institution from within the MENA and Asia regions to be recognised as a General Clearing Member by NASDAQ Dubai.
