The American delegation, headed by Dave Adkisson, Chairman of the Board of the American Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) and President and CEO of Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, also included chamber heads of major US States including Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Kentucky, San Francisco and other metro cities, each representing thousands of US businesses.
The networking meeting was presided over by Hisham Al Shirawi, second Vice-Chairman of Dubai Chamber and the panel of speakers included John Boehm, President, American Business Council; Hamdi Osman, Senior Vice-President, Operations Middle East and India, Fedex; and Mathew Becker, Director, UAE Operations, Perkins Eastman International.

This visit will also open up a world of opportunities for the US chambers’ members who, through Dubai, will gain access to an extremely lucrative market that extends to the Gulf region.
David Adkisson lauded Dubai’s hospitality and generosity extended to his delegation, which he said will leave a lasting impression on them.
He stressed that the emirate offers a lot of investment opportunities for the US companies and now this visit will help attract more American investors to the region.
