Zeeshan Akmal helped the defending champions edge past Jashanmal CC by two wickets while Cricket Maxway won by eight wickets against Dew Drops Fashion to finish their engagements in Group C.

The T20 tournament, organised by Dulsco Sports Club in association with the Dubai Municipality, is being held under the auspices of the Dubai Cricket Council and Sponsored by DBMSC Steel FZCO at the Zabeel Park cricket grounds, Dubai.

Batting first, Jashanmal put on 159 runs for the loss of eight wickets. Al Masa made a hash of their chase but thanks to Zeeshan, who scored a hurricane 76 from 30 balls and saved the champions from defeat.

He hit nine sixes and two fours to see his team to victory. Amjad contributed 17, Tariq and Amjad Gayan 12 each and Subin 10 as Al Masa won with ease with seven balls to spare. Ibrahim bagged four wickets for four runs, Rashid picked up two for 42 and Sageer one for 35 for the losers. Earlier batting first, Jashanmal put up 159 thanks to a half-century (66) by Shakoor. He hit five sixes and an equal number of fours when facing 36 deliveries. Ibrahim added 37, Amjad 15 and Salah Zada 10.

Murtaza bagged three wickets for 37, Subin two for 29 and Tariq, Kasim and Amjad one each for the winners. Zeeshan Akmal of Al Masa Distribution was named the DBMSC Steel man of the match.

In a low scoring match earlier on Monday night, Cricket Maxway reached the victory target of 97 in the 17th over. Shaun hit an unbeaten 37 from as many balls while Azeem scored 35 and Chirag 19 as Cricket Maxway reached the low target in 16.3 overs.

Shyam and Sunil picked up one wicket each whilst conceding 23 and 29 runs respectively for the losers. Electing to bat, Dew Drops Fashion struggled with the bat finally finishing below 100. Renjith Pillai was the top scorer with 25 followed by Pradeep Prabhakar, the rest of the batsmen failed to reach double-digit figures. Sarath, Vishal and Jay claimed two wickets each whilst conceding 7, 22 and 20 runs respectively for the winners. Azeem Ansari of Cricket Maxway was named the man of the match.
