Dubai Cricket Council is the official body under the Emirates Cricket Board to organise and approve cricket in Dubai just as the other councils of Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi are in their own emirate.

All teams and players who are registered with various councils of the UAE are advised that they should not participate in any disapproved cricket and they should only participate in cricket tournaments which are conducted by the various councils of the UAE or approved by them.
