Dubai — Kerala chief minister Oommen Chandy unveiled the logo of fifth edition of the All India Seven’s Football Tournament for Aslam Trophy in the presence of MA Yousaffali and Shamsudheen bin Mohideen, chairman of Regency Group.

The tournament, organised by Oruma, an organisation of expatriates from Kalpakancheri panchayat in Kerala, is held every year in memory of Aslam bin Mohideen’s valuable contributions to the welfare of Indian expatriate community. Patron of Oruma, Basheer Padiyath, and organisers Salah Abdussamad, Majeed, Shakeer Hussain, Sedheeq Kalady also participated in the logo unveiling function. Oruma is a welfare forum founded in 2003 under the leadership of the late Aslam bin Mohideen.
