Everest Sports teams to play in England

Everest Sports will organise a cricket tournament in England and they will be fielding three teams comprising players from the UAE.

Fifteen teams will compete for the Unicare Medical Centre and Gulf Petrochem International Cup, supported by Durham County Cricket Club, in three age categories: Under-12, Under-16 and senior boys from July 30 to August 17.

The Under-17 team is being led by Sreenivas Sarma, who was been very successful as a captain. Under his leadership, the team had won the Nissan Gulf Cup. His deputy is Shashwik Shetty.

The Under-13 team is being led by Rahul Nambiar with Varun Ravi as his deputy. This team has promising players like Imad Ashraf, Rishi Nambiar, Sam Dorell, Sidharth Jain, Luv Sailesh, Kush Sailesh, Ahmed Tariq, Yahya, Basil Butt, Mahith and Rahul Sujith.

The capping ceremony of the team was held at Skyline University College in Sharjah on Wednesday. Academy coaches Indika, Abdul Rehman, Zahid Butt, Tariq and Qasim attended the function.
