Michael Clarke enthrals UAE fans

Dubai — Hyatt Gold Passport members were treated to a special VIP event on Thursday night hosted by Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke — one of the greatest batsmen of the modern era and the only man in history to have scored four double centuries in a calendar year.

It was a great opportunity for the cricket fans to meet Clarke and ask him questions on his remarkable career. Guests at the event were presented with a replica Spartan cricket bat by Clarke, also known as Pup, modeled on the one he regularly uses. Speaking on the event, he said; “It’s great to be back in this exciting, bustling city, which offers world class cricketing facilities.” Australia will play three one-dayers and two Test matches against Pakistan in the UAE. The Twenty20 International will be played on October 5 in Dubai.
