Pacific Ventures win Winter League title

In the Premier Division Cup final, Knight Riders scored 103 runs in 16 overs. Batting first, Knight Riders struggled to post 24 but Pacific Ventures had good start with the first pair getting past the opponent’s score.

Dubai: Pacific Ventures defeated Knight Riders by 79 runs to win the Sprite InSportz Club Winter League 2014/15, held under the patronage of The Dubai Sports Council.

In the Premier Division Cup final, Knight Riders scored 103 runs in 16 overs. Batting first,  Knight Riders  struggled to post  24 but Pacific Ventures had good start with the first pair getting past the opponent’s score.

Except a bit of a wobble by the third pair the winners sailed smoothly to score 103 in 16 overs and lift the title.

Danube Lions beat Kings by 91 runs in the Plate Finals of Premier Division. Kings scored 9 runs in 16 overs (Pravin 8, Zahoor 8, Ojas 7). Danube Lions scored 100 in 16 overs (Rumesh 19, Faiaz 17, Kamal 13). Man of the Match Kamal of Danube Lions.
