City’s Jesus Navas, Edin Dzeko, Stevan Jovetic and Bacary Sagna with officials at the signing of the QNET-MCFC deal
Prominent Asian direct selling company QNET announces a new and exciting partnership with Manchester City Football Club (MCFC), as the official direct selling partner of this Premier League football club based in Manchester, England. The sponsorship is set to kick-off several branding benefits and CSR partnerships.
The three year QNET-MCFC partnership with the 2013-2014 Barclays Premier League champions was announced at a Press conference at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester in the presence of players Jesus Navas, Edin Dzeko, Bacary Sagna and Stevan Jovetic recently.
QNET, a leading Asian direct selling company with its regional headquarters in Abu Dhabi, said the partnership synergizes well with both QNET and Manchester City’s values and stories.
Managing Director of QNET, JR Mayer says: “This groundbreaking partnership with MCFC marks another major involvement in sports by QNET, a young player in an industry dominated by larger direct selling giants. This venture provides another strategic platform for QNET to further elevate its brand and achieve greater reach to its Independent Representatives (IRs) and consumers worldwide.”
Mayer adds: “We are absolutely thrilled with this partnership with Manchester City. Indeed, this is a timely and significant relationship between two brands which are keen in taking on any challenges for the taste of success.”
MCFC started from a humble beginning as a community club, just as QNET did with a small group of friends. The club rose to prominence after years of hard work and effort. Similarly, QNET rose from various challenges and a tough business environment. MCFC’s focus on giving back to the community through football finds resonance with QNET’s philosophy of RYTHM which is “Raise Yourself To Help Mankind”, the social responsibility arm of QNET which actively serves local communities and international bodies to establish and carry-out vital community programmes. In the UAE, QNET has been supporting Rashid Centre’s various programmes for special needs children.
