Western Furniture announces key management promotions
The organisational changes are part of the company’s growth plans and aimed at further strengthening its market leadership in the premium furniture retail industry.
Dubai — Western Furniture, the premier retailer of upscale home furniture in the UAE, announces the promotion of Mikdad Bhabhrawala as CEO and Gayatri Dongre as General Manager for Marketing and Procurement.
The organisational changes are part of the company’s growth plans and aimed at further strengthening its market leadership in the premium furniture retail industry.
Bhabhrawala was general manager of Western Furniture for two decades and contributed greatly to the success of the company. Commenting on his new role, he said: “It has been my endeavour to build Western Furniture into a strong and successful company by enhancing its corporate earnings, optimising its business portfolio and strengthening its management team.”
Dongre said: “The company will continue with its commitment to excellence in all aspects of the furniture industry.”
Dongre previously worked in a dual capacity as Retail Consultant for Western Furniture and Brand Manager/ Interior Designer of Natuzzi Italia. In her new role as general manager for Marketing and Procurement, she will further expand the company’s customer base comprised of large international companies, government agencies and real estate chains across the UAE and beyond.
