Gunman killed in new attack on Egyptian hotel

Egyptian security forces killed a gunman who opened fire at the entrance to a hotel in the Red Sea resort city of Hurghada on Friday, state television reported.

Two foreign tourists, one from Germany and one from Denmark were wounded when a number of gunmen launched the assault after arriving by sea, it said. Security forces had repelled the attack, the report said.
Unconfirmed reports on social media said three gunmen waving Daesh flags attacked the hotel and two gunmen were killed after police returned the fire.
On Thursday, another attack on an Egypt hotel targeted a bus carrying Israeli tourists near Gyza Pyramids.
