A crew member working for Qatar's national carrier has been suspended following a tweet appearing to mock abaya, the Islamic outfit.
As reported by Doha News, a photo shared on Twitter shows the Qatar Airways staffer smiling as he holds up two black abayas in an empty plane. Qatar Airways said the crew member has been suspended pending an investigation.

The photo was tweeted by a Kuwaiti national with 745,000 followers, "who implied the man appeared to be mocking Arab women who change out of their abayas when they travel to Europe," according to Doha News. 
Qatar Airways responded, "Qatar Airways strongly expresses its respect for all passengers traveling aboard its flights. Therefore, the crew member in question has been suspended pending an investigation into the incident." 
Several netizens appreciated the move by Qatar Airways.
