A woman in Saudi Arabia has burnt down her house after she learnt that her husband had gone on his second honeymoon.
According to Saudi news site Al Sada, the woman has six children and has been married for 10 years, was horrified when she received a text message from her husband saying that he had married again and was going to go abroad with her for their honeymoon.
The wife was so enraged that set her home in Jazan port city on fire. But she had a change of heart when she saw the house on fire and screamed for assistance from her neighbours.
The fire was put out eventually by the fire brigade. According to reports, one child aged five, was injured. The police is currently investigating the case.
"She set her house on fire to avenge her husband's wedding. one of her children suffered injuries in the fire which was put out by the civil defence," Al Sada newspaper said in a report from the Southern Jazan province.
