It’s been a while since we’ve seen Olivia Wilde and in The Lazarus Effect she makes a welcome if…wild… return. This supernatural thriller looks genuinely scary and that is no doubt a result of her decent acting ability.

Olivia is part of a group of scientists who stumble across a serum that can bring living beings back from the dead. After successful although strange results on a dog, events transpire that see the serum used on Miss Wilde. Suffice to say it doesn’t go well.
Imdb gives this 5.4 and Rottentomatoes.com has it at, er… okay 13%!
