The Ajman government has launched a unified website that will offer the services of all government departments. It will also offer "seven packages of happiness".
The ajman.ae website's 'packages of happiness' were developed for Ajman residents to find information related to government procedures easily. These packages will help them identify and complete their transactions easily.
The packages include 'my education', which will help students choose relevant schools and universities; and 'my profession', which will allow users to review the laws and regulations that apply to the employees of the Government of Ajman.
A family package will have information about everything from marriage procedures to formalities relating to issuing birth certificates for babies. One package will have information about the types of licences available in the emirate and how to apply for them.
A tourist package will allow tourists to identify tourist hotspots and hotels in the emirate, while a government package will detail the government's strategic plans. One package will detail the history of Ajman.
The portal was launched by Sheikh Ahmed Al Nuaimi, administration advisor of the Ruler of Ajman, and Ahood Shuhail, director of digital government, during the Gitex Technology Week.
During the launch ceremony, Sheikh Ahmed said: "The launch of a range of digital services that are of interest to the community, strategic partners and clients in various government departments is a clear example of the concerted efforts of the emirate's leadership towards transforming Ajman into a fully integrated digital services and applications city."
