There is no dearth of fake promotions that scamsters use to swindle money from gullible residents in the UAE.
A new scam doing the rounds is the one supposedly from the Lulu group. 
The hypermarket chain issued an advisory asking their customers to not fall prey to the fake messages.
The notification read:
Dear Customer, please do not share any of your bank details with anyone claiming you have won a prize, as it is not associated with LuLu. Fraudulent messages are currently being sent through WhatsApp and phone calls that are not legitimate. Please do not respond. STOP 3339.
