His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler, has applauded a woman minister for reporting to duty - after giving birth just weeks before.
On August 28, Shaikh Mohammed visited the headquarters of the Ministry of Education to review a comprehensive new plan to overhaul public school education in the UAE.
On his visit, he was received by Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education among other officials, including Jameela bint Salem Al Muhairi, Minister of State for Public Education.
According to social media posts by Shaikh Mohammed - on Instagram and Twitter - Al Muhairi recently gave birth and had reported to work just three weeks after.
Applauding her work ethos, Shaikh Mohammed posted this photo of her giving him a tour of the Ministry during his visit:

He acknowledged her dedication to work and congratulated her on the new baby.
It is noteworthy that the Dubai Ruler, earlier this week, made a surprise visit to government departments early morning. The visits included the Dubai Municipality, the Dubai Lands Department, and the Economic Development Department (DED) and Dubai Airports.
Surprisingly, directors and senior officials of the said departments were not present during Shaikh Mohammed's surprise visit, according to the posts of Khalifa Saeed Salman, Director of the Protocol Department of Dubai on social media.
Social media users, however, praised Shaikh Mohammed's visits.
"This is a message to officers, be they seniors or juniors. They have to report for duty on time," some of them said.
On Monday, Shaikh Mohammed had ordered nine Dubai Municipality officials to retire to make way for young blood.
