The quick response of the Ajman Civil Defense controlled a fire broke out in the night in workers accommodation. Firefighters and rapid intervention teams of Ajman Civil Defense responded quickly to a fire which erupted in two rooms of the workers' accommodation located in the commercial area of Musheirf. No human casualties were reported. Lt. Col. Eilan Issa Al Shamsi, director of operations department said that the operation room received a report stating there was a fire in the workers' accommodation. The Civil Defence vehicles, the rapid intervention, and the national ambulance moved to the scene in less than ten minutes. Al-Shamsi pointed out that the fire gutted two rooms completely but with no casualties. The cooling operation took place and the site was handed over to Ajman police to complete the rest of the necessary procedures. An investigation has begun to determine the cause of the fire. He praised the role of civil defence personnel in meeting the call of duty to reach the scene within minutes and controlling the fire. He stressed that the interaction with the public has a significant role in the efficiency of the performance of the civil defence and contributes to the rapid response time. He noted that clear information to report accidents helps the team to reach in record time.
