An Abu Dhabi-based Indian girl tragically passed away on her birthday.

Her death has left family and friends in deep shock.
"The family hails from Kerala. Mahima's father Shaji Chacko Daniel is working in Abu Dhabi for the last 20 years. Her mother Susan also live here. Her elder sister Anju Anna Shaji is completing her higher studies in India," the relative added.
The relative said only family members knew about Mahima's illness.
