"Also people should avoid putting papers on people's cars claiming that they had used their parking spaces of parked near their homes especially when it is a public space and not designated for any particular person."

Officials warned that illegal signboards spoil the appearance of public area and that people should refrain from the habit.

The municipality also urged the community members to comply with the terms and conditions of posting advertising ads and posters in streets.

"People placing advertising posters or boards on streets, buildings, light poles and other places have to source proper permits to avoid being entangled in offences, as the municipality is keen on boosting partnership and cooperation with the community in protecting public realms and the urban outlook of cities," said the municipality.

The civic body said their teams were doing regular inspection campaigns in various areas of the emirate to crackdown on the violators.
