Dubai - The earthquake was felt by the residents of Masafi.

A 2.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded in UAE's East Masafi at 4:01pm on Wednesday, according to a tweet by the National Centre for Meteorology (NCM).
The earthquake was slightly felt by the residents of Masafi. No damages were recorded.
Earlier this year, tremors had also been felt in Ras Al Khaimah.
The NCM had recorded a 2.1 magnitude quake north of Bandar Abbas, located in the South of Iran at 8:59pm, UAE local time.
