An online initiative launched in Dubai on Saturday lets residents pose queries to senior government officials on social media. Citizens and expats can pose questions to the authorities using #AskDXBOfficial, the Government of Dubai Media Office (GDMO) announced.
Responses will be posted on the official social media platforms of the Dubai Media Office.
As a start, you can pose any visa-related questions to the Director-General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, Major-General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri. Remember to use #AskDXBOfficial with your questions.
"GDMO's new initiative #AskDXBOfficial invites you to ask any question you have for #Dubai's senior officials," the GDMO tweeted.
At the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic, the GDMO had launched a social media initiative called #AskDXBdoctor in collaboration with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and Mohammed bin Rashid University. Residents were encouraged to pose their questions using the hashtag which were later answered by a team of experts.
