Dubai - The pilot of the plane had found a "serious technical glitch" during the flight.
An Air India Express flight from Sharjah to Kozhikode made an emergency landing at Thiruvananthapuram airport on Friday morning, according to an airline spokesperson.

The representative noted that the plane had to make the emergency diversion due to technical reasons.
"The pilot of the plane found some serious technical glitch during the flight and decided to land at Thiruvananthapuram airport," added the statement.
All 104 passengers have arrived safely, the spokesperson confirmed.
