Expo 2020 Dubai is recruiting to fill a number of vacancies as it readies to open its doors to visitors from around the world later this year.

Candidates looking for jobs in the field of accounting, staff management, marketing and communication of senior managerial positions, administration executives, social media monitoring and others can apply for the jobs through its website.

Manager-partner marketing & communication (Marcoms):

The main responsibilities of the role include contributing to the development and execution of the marketing and communication plan; ensuring Marcoms related contractual rights and benefits for each partner are delivered on time; identifying appropriate opportunities for the partners; liaise with internal departments and monitor the review and approval flow of partner assets via Expo brand portal. The candidate should have over six years of experience in marketing and communications, account management or partner management experience preferred, as well as a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university programme preferably in marketing; experience in delivering multi-channel campaigns; and ability to read, write and speak Arabic.

Account Executive – Partner Marketing and Communication

The main responsibilities of the role include supporting team colleagues with coordination and delivery of Marketing & Communications plans; monitor and report the performance of partner campaigns and activity; prepare monthly reporting for department chief, internal Expo stakeholders; monitor the review and approval flow of partner assets via Expo brand portal to ensure timely and efficient turn-around in compliance with brand guidelines; and coordinate partner requests for ad hoc reporting. The candidate should have over one-year of experience in marketing and communications, with preferable account executive or partner management experience, as well as a Bachelor's degree within the relevant field; experience in delivering multi-channel campaigns, including ATL, social media, email, events & online promotions; and ability to read, write and speak Arabic.

Manager, Social Content

The main responsibilities of the role include overseeing all social media platforms from ideation to content creation, implementation, management and reporting; develop quarterly content road maps; ownership of the social media calendar that captures all marketing and communications activities as well as other social-led activities; conceive, create and execute innovative social media marketing campaigns; develop, plan and execute quarterly social media stand-alone campaigns; manage day-to-day communications and deliverables with the agency among others. The job requires over six years of experience with social media channels; a Bachelor's degree within a relevant field; deep understanding of the UAE social media scene, culture and trends; experience of working on global social media campaigns for international markets; strong understanding of social media measurement and insights as well as overall digital analytics; and proven experience working on influencer marketing campaigns, excellent project management skills. Arabic language skill is a must.

Assistant Manager, Social Media Monitoring

The main responsibilities of the role include monitoring the Expo 2020’s social media ecosystem and channels; work closely with the head of social media on identifying trending topics and build the social media reporting model for Expo’s owned content. The candidate should have over four-year of experience, a Bachelor’s degree within a relevant field; deep understanding of the UAE social media scene and experience of using social media reporting tools and strong understanding of the native tools each social platform has to offer. Arabic language is a plus.

Head of Marketing – Specialist Programme

The main responsibilities of the role include define and promote a clear value proposition for all component streams of the specialist programme, with a specific focus on the business Programme; identify marketing and communications opportunities to support and enhance the relevance and reach of existing programmes to key audiences; develop a sales and marketing plan specifically targeting the B2B audience with specific targets for generating over 1 million business passes to corporates and take a holistic response to defining the strategic positioning of the specialist programme. The candidates applying for the position must have over 11-year of experience, a Bachelor’s Degree, and experience in delivering multi-channel campaigns, including ATL, social media, email, events and online promotions.

Senior Manager- Programming

The main responsibilities of the role include ensuring an effective management of the required production contractors and suppliers to deliver the projects; manage the risk management framework and ensure the contractor’s compliance with reporting appropriate risk mitigation measures and contingency plans; and lead planning of event time integration of production contractor/s with the wider department and Expo team. People with over 8-year experience, experience with planning and delivery of large-scale ceremonies and shows; knowledge of mega event operational planning and delivery; excellent negotiating, communication and interpersonal skills should apply for this positions.

Manager – Programming

The main responsibilities of the role include liaise with the Expo relevant departments, support the integration with other events and entertainment projects, contractors and suppliers; and lead planning of the production contractor/s event time integration with the wider department and Expo team and support any requirements of Expo Readiness and testing related to the projects. Candidates need over six-year experience in project management and major events delivery, as well as a Bachelor's educational degree within a relevant field; and experience in delivering large, complex programmes of work.

Senior Manager - Specialist Programme

The main responsibilities of the role include design and deliver Expo Specialist Programme tools and structure, including theme weeks and theme week events, and linkage with International Days and other areas of programming; content development and design for thematic areas across all five programme pillars, including developing concepts for all new Specialist Programme events; manage vendor relationships and lead conversations with International Participants, manage Specialist Programme Office hours, key liaison with Country Managers and Specialist Programme Working Group (SPWG) members; and develop content about Expo’s specialist programme. Candidates with over eight-year experience in international development or global affairs, as well as experience in managing high-level government, policy international organisation, private sector stakeholders; and ability to lead, command respect and to create a sense of cohesion and support in the Director General’s team will be selected for the post.

Lead Manager, Production Control

The main responsibilities of the role include lead the planning, testing and operations for Site Wide Sound, Vision and Lighting control systems across the Expo 2020 Site; recruit and manage the team of operational control staff; and be responsible for daily monitoring and reporting of actions and issues. The candidates must have over eight years of experience in a manager role working on a previous major event programme, leisure attraction, or large precinct environment with specific experience related to C3 safety operations, oublic address voice alarm (PAVA) systems, digital screen control and/or site wide lighting systems, as well as a bachelor’s degree within a relevant field; and Thorough understanding of site wide control systems.

Senior Accountant Inventory

Online Retail Assistant Manager

The main responsibilities of the role include daily monitoring the store’s pages ensuring functionality – both Arabic and English; flagging and correcting any errors found among all involved parties; quality control and quality assurance of the online store’s pages; content creation, including the production of visual merchandising of the online store as per the merchandising plan; manage the library of all creative assets; coordinate regular photoshoots with all involved parties (logistics, licensees, studios, the creative studio); and monitor customer reviews and rating. Manager – Staffing
