The weather department has predicted unstable weather conditions for the UAE today. There is a possibility of rainfall of different intensity at various places in the country.
According to the National Center of Meteorology and Seismology(NCMS)clouds will increase over most areas of the country, some becoming convective clouds, associated with rainfall of different intensity at scattered places.
Moderate to fresh winds will blow over land which may cause rising dust. The sea will be rough to very rough at times, especially with clouds activity in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman sea.

Providing a weather forecast for the weekend, starting from December 15 to December 18, 2017 the NCMS reports, "The county will be affected by an extended surface depression and upper air low pressure with a cool air mass from the north. This will gradually lead to increase of clouds amount with some towering clouds accompanied with rainfall from Friday, especially on the northern and eastern regions and islands."
The NCMS has also issued a word of caution to motorists during the rainy days as there could be poor visibility on the roads due to dust and sand.
