Brace for a further rise in temperature this week as the National Center of Meteorology said that the mercury will soar further on Wednesday.
The day will be hot to partly cloudy in general in the UAE.
It will be humid over the coast during the morning and light to moderate winds could blow, reaching a speed of 35 km/hr.
Sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and moderate in Oman sea.
On Wednesday, the daytime temperature could increase and so will the humidity over the coast in the morning.
The temperature could hover between 40 to 44°C over the coastal areas and between 42 to 47°C in the internal areas.
Residents should prepare themselves as humidity could be between 65 to 90 per cent in the coastal areas and between 55 to 80 per cent in the internal areas.
The highest temperature recorded over the country on Tuesday was 49.4°C in Mezaira at 3:15pm while lowest temperature recorded today morning was 25.4 °C in Jais Mountain at 3:45 am, the weather office said.
