The National Centre Meteorology, NCM, has said that rough sea conditions will continue in the Arabian Gulf as a result of fresh northwesterly winds with up to 40 km/hr.
In a statement, NCM said that wave heights are expected to reach between four to six feet until 1.00pm on Thursday.
Fog covered parts of the UAE on Thursday morning as misty conditions prevailed in several areas.
The NCM shared warning about fog formation over scattered areas, especially over internal areas with poor horizontal visibility of less than 1,000 meters.

The NCM also reported heavy fog and mist over Al Maktoum International Airport, Sharjah Airport, and other parts of Abu Dhabi
For today's weather update, the NCM has forecast that the day will be hot in general and hazy at times. There will also be light to moderate winds in general, freshening at times, which may cause blowing dust over some exposed areas.

The relative humidity will increase by the night and early morning with a chance of fog/mist formation over some coastal and internal areas.  Some low clouds will appear on the eastern coast, becoming convective by afternoon along the mountains, the NCM added.
The temperature today will hit a maximum of 47°C in the internal areas, with humidity expected to peak at 80 per cent, according to the weather bureau. The highest temperature recorded over the country on Wednesday was 46.9 °C in Al Foah at 3:15 pm.

Meanwhile, the NCM also stated that the sea current will be moderate in general  becoming rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.

The weather is expected to be hot in general and hazy at times, over the weekend, accompanied with light to moderate winds.
