Acclaimed Pakistani actor Hamza Ali Abbasi recently announced that he is renouncing show business to dedicate his life to spreading the message of Islam.
 
'The Pyare Afzal' actor shared a video on his social media to announce his decision, which he claims is based on more than 10 years of research.
Abbasi narrates his journey from atheism to Islam in the 23-minute long video. He tells fans that he will try to shape his life in accordance with Islam and will spread its message through every medium.
He added that if he ever produces any more movies, it will be about Islam and within the parameters of the religion.

The news comes a week after Pakistani singer Rabi Pirzada announced that she was quitting showbiz after her private pictures were leaked online.
Abbasi made headlines recently after going for Haj and getting married soon after. The actor-turned-activist is known to a be an avid support of Prime Minister Imran Khan, but doesn't want to get involved in politics now.
