Director of a boys school in Egypt was ousted from his post and 18 school employees were transferred for showing students a belly dance video on smart board.
The matter is being investigated by the Egyptian Ministry of Education following which the director of Al-Farouk Omar Secondary School for Boys in Sadat City was expelled.
Besides this, 18 teachers and employees were transferred as the investigation into the incident is underway, Arabic news portal Emarat Alyoum quoted Egyptian newspaper Al-Watan reports.
According to details of the incident, the school witnessed students dancing to the Mohamed Ramadan's songs in the class and watching belly dance the school's smart board.
A source in the Egyptian Ministry of Education said that the number of school staff involved in the incident can go up and can be strictly punished. The Sadat City Educational Administration, Menoufia Governorate, also issued a decision to punish 20 students involved in the indecent incident and asked for their dismissal from school.
