One might well see countries like Sudan, Bahrain, and Oman seriously considering to end 70 years of a stand-off with Israel

Flight El Al LY 971 from Tel Aviv touched down at Abu Dhabi International at 3.40pm on Monday heralding a new chapter in relations between the UAE and Israel. Emblazoned on the aircraft was the word 'peace' in English, Arabic, and Hebrew signifying an exceptional era of togetherness. Even the flight code was indicative of the UAE dialing telephone code what with the communication lines being recently opened.
The fast tracking of the relationship was reflected 24 hours earlier when the host country scrapped the 1972 boycott law that disallowed all commercial activities with Israel. To see the day when the leaders of the two nations would meet in harmony with a common sense of purpose, best described by White House Senior Adviser Jared Kushner as a circle of peace that must now widen itself, the world has waited long. On board the aircraft was Kushner himself, an indication of how vital this accord is to the United States. With him is US National Security Adviser Robert O'Brien and Meir Ben-Shabbat, head of the Israeli National Security Council. The three-way meet should go a long way in furthering the workable and cordial atmosphere through which other nations in the region would be encouraged to follow suit. One might well see countries like Sudan, Bahrain, and Oman seriously considering to end 70 years of a stand-off that has now coalesced into a call for co-operation and mutual respect and regard.
