As many as 1,300 workers of the Dubai Municipality are on the frontlines of this Covid-19 coronavirus as they perform their daily duties, keeping the city's streets clean. A three-shift system is being implemented to ensure the sustainability of the emirate's cleanliness around the clock.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has completed the sterilisation of all 47 Dubai Metro stations, 79 Metro trains, 11 tram stations and 11 Dubai Trams as part of the National Sterilisation Programme jointly undertaken by the Ministry of Health and Prevention and the Ministry of Interior.
RTA has also completed the sterilisation of 1,372 buses. Furthermore, the sterilisation covered the entire fleet of Dubai Taxi, limousines and shared transport (smart rental) operating in Dubai, which exceed 17,000 in number.
Dubai Police used aerial patrols and state-of-the-art gadgets to reinforce the #StayHomeStaySafe message as well as sterlise the city's streets and common areas.
Dubai Police also used helicopters to warn violators on the street and at rooftops to minimise the spread of the deadly Covid-19 disease.
The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has conducted preventive coronavirus (COVID-19) screening campaigns in a number of areas in Dubai as part of its efforts to prevent the spread of the pandemic.
The Authority partnered with Dubai Police, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services and private healthcare providers including Medeor, Aster and Prime hospitals to conduct the screening campaigns.
