Called the Thriller Villa, the 24,276-square-foot estate was once home to Michael Jackson and his three children. And now it could be home to anyone who has $9.5million to spare.

The property, located at 2710 Palomino Lane spans across a walled 1.7-acre compound. Behind the iron gates is a cobblestone-paved driveway that goes around a water fountain.

Put on the market by Synergy Sotheby's International Realty, the villa has been described in all its beauty and splendor.

The heart of the home is the salon, said to be Michael's favorite room, featuring a massive stone fireplace, wood floors, exposed wood beams, a Murano glass chandelier, rich, warm tones and plenty of cozy seating areas. The salon, foyer, and a bar area offer access to the courtyard, which features plenty of outdoor entertaining space, a fountain and a statue. A small stable and paddock are situated along the back property line.

Perhaps the most impressive feature is the estate's two-story 74-seat Medieval Chapel. The ceiling has a hand painted sky scene complete with a glorious Crown of Thorns Chandelier and traditional red drapes.

An interesting part of the house seems to be the 8500 square foot basement that was once a private art gallery and was a path for Michael Jackson to get into his vehicle secretly in order to avoid Paparazzi. It also has a private guest suite with full kitchen.

Michael Jackson and his kids lived here from 2007 until he died on June 25, 2009, at his Los Angeles home.
