A 5-magnitude earthquake hit Iran on Sunday afternoon, and tremors were felt in northern parts of UAE as well.

According to the National Centre of Meteorology, the quake hit Qeshm island in south Iran.

Minor shocks were felt in Ras Al Khaimah as well, NCM reported.
