The UAE on Friday condemned in the strongest terms the deadly terror attack in Egypt's Giza province.
Dr Anwar Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, assured that the UAE stood in solidarity with the Egyptian government in its fight to combat terrorism and extremism.
These acts seek to wreak havoc for Egypt and its people, but it will not undermine the country's resolve to eradicate terrorism, Dr Gargash added. "We are confident that whoever intends for evil endeavours to occur on Egyptian soil will not succeed," he said.
Dr Gargash expressed the UAE's sincere condolences to Egypt's government, people, and families of the martyrs, wishing a speedy recovery to the wounded.
The Arab League also condemned the attack. League Secretary-General Ahmed Abul Gheit said the attack reflected the importance of countering terrorism.
