Coronavirus: Another 323 Indians evacuated from Wuhan, return home

New Delhi - Ambassador pays tribute to officials involved in the evacuation operation.

India successfully evacuated another group of more than 300 Indians stranded in coronavirus-hit China, on Sunday.
According to Vikram Misri, India's ambassador to China, a second Air India flight from Wuhan took off for Delhi with 323 Indian citizens on board late Saturday night.

Among the evacuated were also seven Maldives citizens.
In a series of tweets, the official thanked Chinese authorities for their assistance, and paid tribute to Indian officers and officials part of the operation to bring back Indians back home.
