A 5.0-magnitude earthquake jolted Gerze county of Ali prefecture in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region at 2:01 am on Friday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter, with a depth of 9 km, was monitored at 34.56 degrees north latitude and 85.68 degrees east longitude, said the CENC.
