In a tragic incident, a 28-year-old Singaporean model collapsed after singing a high-pitched song in a karaoke lounge with her friends, reported The Straits Times Singapore.
Karen Stella Wong who was out for a Christmas party with friends, complained of sudden headache and numbness in her body on December and was rushed to the Singapore General Hospital where she slipped into a coma and died three days later.
The doctors revealed that Wong died of acute intracerebral hemorrhage where bleeding occurs in the skull due to bursting of blood vessels.
Acute intracerebral hemorrhage can be caused by head trauma, hypertension, tumor, or illegal drug use, but Wong's father Laurence Wong said that his daughter was healthy and showed none of these symptoms ever.
Wong worked as a marketing consultant and was a freelance model in Singapore. Both her kidneys and liver have been donated under the Singapore Human Organ Transplant Act.
"She saved lives of three ailing patients after her organs were transplanted on them," said Wong's father.
