Al Suwaidi was delighted with his performance on Friday.
"Since the FBMA International Show Jumping Cup opened the door for male riders to participate, I have been delighted to join the competition every year. This sport enjoys a wide participation and I was very happy to win today. I wish the best to all the riders in the next rounds," he said.
Mohammed Al Nekhi, vice president of the Show Jumping Committee, presented the trophies.
"The FBMA International Show Jumping Cup has established itself on the international sports calendar," Al Nekhi said.
"The exceptional competitions we have witnessed during the first and second day of the championship by local talents and outstanding international riders, is testament to the impressive development of the Cup over the years.
"This Cup is an inspiration for Emirati talents to join the world of equestrian sports," added Al Nekhi.
"We, at the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation, support these Emirati talents. We look forward to the final day of the Cup and the outstanding performances from all the riders."
