Ethiopian runners dominate in both men's and women's competition at the Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon 2020, one of Dubai's landmark events.
Ethiopia's Olika Adugna Bikila clocked 2:06:15 to win the men's title while in the women's race, Worknesh Degefa clocked 2:19:37 to defend the title.

The elite fields took to the roads at 6am with the masses off an hour later at 7am.
The honour of getting the day's action underway falls to a stellar international field of wheelchair athletes. The 10km Road Race started at 8.15am, while the 4km Fun Run is at 11am.
Meanwhile, The Road and Transport Authority (RTA) has urged motorists not leave their vehicles on the roads surrounding the marathon to allow passage for emergency services.

They listed the road closures and diversions during the course of the marathon.
Motorists must take note if they plan to drive around these areas.
