With his aggressive style, David Miller has built his reputation as one of the most destructive batsmen in limited overs cricket.
The South African left-hander, who shot into the limelight with a 38-ball hundred against the Royal Challengers Bangalore during an IPL match in 2013, enjoys a strike rate of over 100 in his 132-match one-day career.
"I think having a strike rate of over 100 in one-day cricket, it's because of the position (in the lower middle-order) that I have come in most of time. It's been great... I think I do have a natural swing (of the bat) that makes a big difference," said Miller during an interview with Khaleej Times.
But the 31-year-old batsman who left Kings XI Punjab this season to join the Rajasthan Royals, admitted that India's star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and veteran Pakistani left-arm pacer Wahab Riaz had managed to trouble even a free-flowing player like him in the death overs.
"I have faced a lot of bowlers in the back end (of the innings), I think for me, there are two bowlers that have been really difficult to get away in the back end of the innings," he said.
"Jasprit Bumrah, his skills, the pace that he generates and he does nail his yorkers. Very, very skillful. Wahab Riaz, he is much of the same, you know. When the ball is reversing, he is a handful. When his tail is up, he bowls heavy balls. So those are the two that stand out for me."
While the 26-year-old Bumrah has become one of the best fast bowlers in the world across formats, the 35-year-old Wahab has struggled for consistency despite his wonderful talent.
