Jumeirah College hog the limelight

Dubai - The Inter-Schools League started in 2010 with only eight players and two schools. Now the the league has over 60 different players representing 13 different schools. With the help of dedicated teachers and essential volunteers, national and expat junior golfers have competed in four events.

 Jumeirah College emerged on top at the Inter-Schools League, also known as the Dubai Schools League, at the Troon Golf facility of Arabian Ranches Golf Club.
This 18-hole stablefored grand final was a perfect test for the junior golfers to show off their skills gained throughout the season. Funded by the Emirates Golf Federation, the inter-schools league is a model platform for junior golfers to learn and develop their game.

For the 2015-16 season, Jumeirah were crowned champions after a strong season finishing in first place in the first match, second place in the second match, and tied for first place in the last two matches. Amber Waitie, also from Jumeirah College, was the overall individual stableford winner.
Taking the second place were Jumeirah English Speaking School (JESS). JESS finished in first place in the second match and tied for first place in the last match. Finishing in third place were Dubai College.
