Wasim Akram, the one name which is synonymous with the magic of swing has turned 50. Being one of the best known one-day international cricketers that the game knows of, this man has some 'silver lined' credentials to his name.

Wasim Akram has some really creative nicknames. They include WAZ, Sultan of Swing, The Two W's (with Waqar Younis), King of Swing.

This 'King of Swing' happens to be the first man to take 500 ODI wickets.

Wasim Akram had been diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 30.
