Manchester United undergo training in Dubai

Dubai - The team had arrived in the UAE early on Sunday

The Manchester United players were greeted with sunshine and pleasant weather in Dubai as newly-appointed coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer put his resurgent squad through the paces at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex on Monday.
The team had arrived in the UAE early on Sunday morning following their fifth straight win under Solskjaer - the 2-0 victory over Reading to ensure a spot in the Emirates FA Cup fourth-round.
Paul Pogba, who had failed to make Manchester United's flight to Dubai due to a leg injury, joined up with the rest of the team.
The Frenchman suffered the injury in a second-half challenge by Newcastle United's Jonjo Shelvey in Wednesday's 2-0 win at St James' Park. This caused Pogba to miss Saturday's FA Cup third round win over Reading at Old Trafford.
Solskjaer had spoken ahead of the warm weather training camp about the importance of getting some solid fitness work in to ensure the players are in the best possible condition for the second half of the season, and this began in earnest on Monday afternoon in the Dubai sun, according to Manchester United website.
After some light running and a session of 'boxes', where two players stand in the middle of a group trying to intercept the ball while the main group play one-touch football around the duo, the squad did some further ball work before embarking on a mini-game. Those who started in Saturday's FA Cup victory took part in some recovery work at the same time.
Academy starlets James Garner, Angel Gomes, Mason Greenwood and Tahith Chong are also on the trip and will gain further vital experience working so closely with the first team and spending time with them off the pitch.
