India's opening game in the ongoing World Cup saw former skipper M.S. Dhoni once again profess his love for the security forces after he was spotted with regimental dagger insignia of the Indian Para Special Forces on his wicket-keeping gloves. But the International Cricket Council (ICC) has asked the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to get the symbol removed from Dhoni's gloves.
Dear @ICC .. Balidan means sacrifice - the motto of the Indian Para Special forces. By getting MS Dhoni to remove the insignia from his gloves, you insult not just the Indian Army but the spirit of sacrifice thats taken a fantastic human being like Dhoni to the top of his game. pic.twitter.com/0wgeXtRmpK

#DhoniKeepTheGlove | This is neither political or religious. MS Dhoni is actually Lt. Col MS Dhoni.
