UAE-based technology innovators can sign up for YouthTech Competition 2020 before the application deadline closes on August 8, the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (Adek) has announced.
The Adek has already received numerous entries for the two-day virtual mentorship and training bootcamp, designed to equip innovative applicants with skills and business know-how to grow their start-up from concept to reality.
Open to applicants aged 18-29 years old, the YouthTech Competition 2020 aims to empower and develop homegrown tech-enabled solutions to address pertinent global challenges under the themes of education, economy, infrastructure and society. The competition is held in partnership with accelerator StartAD, as part of the Abu Dhabi Inspires initiative.
A cash prize of up to Dh8,000 is on offer to the competition winner. Applications for YouthTech Competition 2020 close on August 8, with successful applicants participating in the hackathon boot camp August 17 and 18.
