The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has completed the infrastructure for landscaping the 1st Interchange of the Shaikh Zayed Road (SZR) Project, covering a total area of 14 hectares.
"The RTA has completed all infrastructure works of the project (along) with the associated works such as irrigation pumps chamber, integrated subsidiary irrigation network, agricultural soil, electromechanical works for decorative lighting of pathways and trees, footpath as well as lanes needed for carrying out periodic maintenance operations," said Nazim Saeed, Director of Roads, Traffic and Roads Agency.
"The project's contract covers landscaping the 1st Interchange, Al Sukook Road, and some areas at the SZR and Safa Road leading to Al Wasl Road. A team of specialist engineers is currently handing over landscaped areas of the project spanning 14 hectares of greens to the department concerned at the Dubai Municipality." -reporters@khaleejtimes.com
