Dubai - Throughout the break, some 24,198 calls were made to the Dubai Police's hotline.

A total of 412 traffic accidents have been recorded in Dubai during the five-day Eid Al Fitr holiday, police said.
Speeding and tailgating were among the top causes of accidents, according to a local media report quoting Col Turki bin Fares, director of the Command and Control Centre at the General Directorate of Operations, Dubai Police.
Throughout the break, some 24,198 calls were made to the Dubai Police's hotlines -19,317 of which were received through the 999 emergency line and 4,881 calls on 901.
Col Bin Fares urged all motorists to drive with caution and follow traffic rules.
The Dubai Police's 24/7 hotlines are available in six languages. But the officer urged the public to dial 999 only for emergencies.
