Here's your chance to own an exclusive Dubai car number plate

Dubai - RTA to hold 95th Open Auction in Grand Hyatt Hotel on Saturday

Gear up! You have until 4:30pm tomorrow to bid for some fancy car number plates that are being put under the hammer by the RTA.    
As many as 80 exclusive car number plates, including those with two, three, four and five-digit codes, will be up for bidding at the 95^th Open Auction of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) at Al Ameera Ballroom in Grand Hyatt Hotel on Saturday.  
Sultan Al-Marzooki, director of Vehicles Licensing at RTA's Licensing Agency, said: "RTA's auctions witness huge footfall from various community segments as they contribute immensely to realizing our strategic goal of bringing happiness to people. We are, therefore, keen to make (this) auction another chance for the public to engage in positive bidding for their fancied numbers in various codes."
Expected to fetch price are binary numbers highlighted by O 69, triple numbers topped by W 999, quadruple numbers featured by P 4444 and O 6666 and quintet plates such as S 66666 and K 88888.
During the auction, the RTA will also conduct a complimentary draw on plate H 624 and offer it as a prize to one of the attending bidders as part of an effort to realize RTA's 3rd Strategic Goal: People Happiness, added Al-Marzooki.
Interested bidders can register at RTA's Customers Happiness Centers in Umm Al Ramool, Deira, and Al Barsha; and through RTA's website (www.rta.ae) or app. Bidding will start at 4:30pm tomorrow.
