As if he was destined to die, an Emirati man who survived a car crash was killed just after 10 minutes to the first incident in Dubai on Wednesday.
Brigadier Saif Mohair Al Mazroui, Director of the General Department of Traffic at Dubai Police, said that the victim who got injured in the first accident was waiting for the ambulance to come when he was hit by another car.
A woman was behind the wheels of the car which hit the Emirati man who was waiting on the roadside near an electric pole. He was en route to Sharjah when the accident happened.
According to preliminary reports, the woman's car hit the man when a pick up averted a collision with the woman's car which was coming in the opposite direction.
Meanwhile, in a separate accident one man died and two others sustained moderate injuries in a collision involving a truck and car, Brig Al Mazroui added.
While the drivers of the both vehicles sustained the accidents with minor injuries, a man who was accompanying the truck driver was killed on spot in the accident which happened at 09am. Both the vehicles were on the Endurance Road on the direction of Abu Dhabi.
